Audioboo welcomes a host of university radio stations to its revamped platform

Social sound platform Audioboo has announced that a host of university radio stations have joined the platform, including teams from Warwick, Sheffield, Bristol, Sunderland, Portsmouth and Exeter. Audioboo unveiled a site redesign at the start of this year, followed by a new Android app in February – developments which have already resulted in an influx of new users, notably in the student and higher education sector.

Rob Proctor, CEO of Audioboo the audio news platform commented:

James Kenny, Station Manager for Forge Radio at the University of Sheffield added:

This content ranges from instant sports match updates to important student politics-election debates and speeches. It also allows our shows to promote extra content, uploading teasers from behind the scenes of a student radio event for instance. Audioboo has been one of the most useful tools in Forge Radio’s progress as a student radio station this year.”
