The Good Web Guide Website of the Year Awards

In its continued search for innovative business with websites to match, The Good Web Guide is calling for entries for The GWG Website of the Year Awards 2012. With twelve categories across a range of consumer interests, it is hoping to unearth a good cross-section of enterprising sites, that go that extra mile to make them stand out above their competitors. The Awards are supported by a stellar line up of judges, including Alex Chesterman of Lovefilm and Zoopla, Alexandra Chong of women’s networking site, Luluvise.com, Julie Meyer of Ariadne Capital, Chris Turner of Springwise and Gabrielle Hase of Soleberry Advisory. Sponsors include YouGov, AXA Business Insurance, Moo.com, The Food Awards Company, Rakuten Linkshare, The House Directory, FromBritainWithLove.com, WeAreTheCity and The Good Schools Guide.

Bec Clarke of Astley Clarke, the luxury online jeweller, will present the awards at a reception held at The Century Club, London on 20th November.

The Prizes

The winning site will receive a selection of prizes worth GBP 6000 of which GBP 2000 is a cash payment.

Past winners include Simonseeks, Anyvan and WeFund.

To Enter

Entries will be accepted until midnight 2nd October 2012. A nominal cost of GBP 40 exc VAT is charged to enter a site into one category to cover administrative costs, with a percentage going to charity. Over the next week, The Good Web Guide is giving away a Kindle Touch to one entrant as well.
