I can see why these sites are struggling which seems a bit of a paradox in a recession. I also got ripped off by a local NetMyDeal purchase for a Memory card, which didn’t inspire confidence either. Having said that, I did buy some very good deals from Groupon last year for meals out and a couple of hotel stays. Maybe the downturn is also due to people hanging onto their money – just in case!
