The fact that loads of readers clicked on the link as it might be perilous or interesting but once they had they would leave no further comment here as after reading the article it was no longer a threat or surprising so their attention turned to the blue trucks and the jingles whilst eating their apples.

Next, negative instructions to teenagers to make them do the opposite, which is what you always wanted in the first place – hmmm, don't think it's that.
Unpredictability to keep people on their toes – but how would that work on the web? Surely you want to make it easy to visit and journey through a website or blog? Creating unpredictable would only confuse, and all confused web-visitors tend to vote with their feet.
