Internet Merchants Association (IMA) Opens Registration for its 2010 Conference

The Internet Merchants Association (IMA) today announced that registration for its 2010 conference is now open. Held annually in conjunction with the ASD/AMD trade show, the IMA Conference gives attendees a rare opportunity to meet and network with other e- and retailers, showcase their products and services, and attend several educational programs that will give them the tools to improve their business. To register for the conference, please visit http://imamerchants.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=122&Itemid=100028/.

“The ASD/AMD show is a must-do for anyone in the e-commerce or retail business,” said Cynthia Lizana, IMA president. “Not only is it one of the largest merchandise trade shows in the country, but the IMA teaches many of the concurrent educational seminars that will launch your business into the lucrative world of ecommerce.”

The ASD/AMD show runs February 28 – March 3, 2010, at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Sands Expo Center. ASD/AMD seminars (on March 1st and 2nd) are free to IMA attendees when they register for the show here. Topics include “The ABCs of Web Design,” “Big Ideas for Small Businesses,” and “Get Found in Search Engines: SEO 101.”

The IMA Conference will run March 2nd and 3rd, and also include educational seminars targeted to its members such as “Top 10 Tips for Designing a Great Checkout Process,” “Nine Ways to Make Your E-commerce Site More Social,” and “How 21st Century PR Can Build Your Brand.” Lunch on both days of the conference is included in the registration fee. In addition, the IMA hospitality suite will be open from 6 pm on March 1st, 2nd and 3rd; an excellent opportunity to network with and learn from other ecommerce merchants and experts in the field.

Registration for the IMA conference is now open: the member fee through January 17, 2010, is $99 (non-member $199), and will go up to $199 between January 18 and February 12, 2010 (non-members $299). From February 13, 2010, conference registration will be $299/$399 for members/non-members respectively. Non-members are welcome to register; those interested can learn more about the benefits of IMA membership here.
