Conference Hound Announces Content Distribution Via Industry-Based Conference Widget

Conference Hound, the San Francisco-based vertical search engine and business tool for conferences, trade shows and convention attendees has released a widget that allows publishers and bloggers the ability to place industry specific conference listings on their websites.

“The release of this widget is a major step forward in distributing our global conference listings broadly across the Internet”, said Bruce Carlisle, CEO of Conference Hound. He added, “We are providing valuable content to bloggers and publishers with an easy-to-implement widget. Publishers in specific industries can use this customizable tool to display listings on their websites for topic areas they cover.”

The Conference Hound widget is simple for publishers to deploy. It is available to download for free to publishers and bloggers at http://conferencehound.com/widgets (http://conferencehound.com/widgets). Publishers and bloggers select an industry and then copy a provided embed code onto their websites. These widgets use a non-blocking JavaScript embed method that will not impact a web site’s speed or performance. The widgets are fluid and will dynamically size up to the width of any web page column to which they are added.

Innovation in Conference Search
ConferenceHound.com is the web’s leading site devoted to improving the quality of the attendee’s search for conferences, trade shows and conventions worldwide. The attendee-friendly focus is supported by continuous addition of new social, search and content features designed to make finding and sharing conference information and related local activities easy and fun. The website was founded by Bruce Carlisle, a co-founder of pioneering digital marketing agency, SF Interactive. In addition to providing conference attendees with an easy way to search for and filter conference listings, (by date, destination and industry), the site offers a multitude of additional content and targeted sponsorship opportunities serving the estimated $100 billion conference and trade show industry. Currently the site has more than 45,000 conference listings available, with more added continuously by conference organizers and meeting planners.
