If you sell anything online, you need a secure web site. But you also need security in your office or in your home office so there is no way that anyone can collect your customers’ details. If a customer’s details can be hacked into on your web site, or they can be stolen from your files in your office, you significantly reduce the chances of future sales. That’s because a new survey of online shoppers shows they will shun any Internet store that has weak security. More than half of people in the survey said they would stop using any online store that had a poor security record. So, avoid a major hit on your sales by reviewing your current security procedures and those of your suppliers. It might be too late if you wait any longer to ensure your Internet marketing is fully secure.
