By that I mean it is being incorporated into everyday living for many people; as normal as watching TV, reading a newspaper or driving to work. No longer is the Internet seen as something “new fangled”. The survey actually shows that social networking, Internet telephony and online forums are the drivers behind the growth in broadband uptake. What this means is that people now view the Internet as a means of keeping in touch with people, rather than just an information resources. For businesses, this holds out tremendous opportunities. That means if you can create a way of connecting people in your niche, you are likely to be on to a winner. And if you think that’s fanciful, just remember Friends Reunited..!
